You're here, so you might as well have a look around. Wow. There are websites out there for just about every interest - hobbies, sports, pop culture...you name it. I think it's great that some folks devote the time needed to keep those sites up to date with the latest in what's going on. But there's no way I could keep up with that demanding "looking forward" kind of schedule. Let's face it - the author of one of those websites has to be right on top of events to stay relevant. No, that's not my intention here. Instead, I'll take more of a "looking backward" approach, sharing with you information that hasn't exactly been covered on other sites. That's right - stuff about me! Not exactly a blog, but topics that may be of interest or have relevance in your life. That's for you to decide. It all starts with a site creation tool and this home page. As time permits I hope Tom's Place flourishes with stories to tell and ideas to share. I suspect I might start with topics of music as that has played a central part of my life. I've always had a knack for Electronics and Computers, and certainly audio (a personal favorite of mine) ties into all of these areas very nicely! If I am able to produce a tenth of the content I envision I'll consider it a success. Will you?
